Shansi\u2019s programs have a transformative impact, empowering individuals, institutions, and communities to be leaders in cross-cultural engagement.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"font_7\">Shansi\u2019s current programs include:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"font_7\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"font_7\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.shansi.org\/about-the-fellowships\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Shansi Fellowships\u00a0<\/a>sponsor recent Oberlin graduates to work, teach, and study for a two- year\u00a0Independent Fellowship or Site-specific Fellowship at Shansi partner institutions in China, India, Indonesia, and Japan. The Beijing Normal University Fellowship is for one year.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"font_7\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.shansi.org\/iag-grants\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">In-Asia\u00a0Grants<\/a>\u00a0of $1,500 provide Oberlin undergraduates opportunities to develop valuable research skills and broaden their horizons by volunteering for non-governmental organizations in Asia, or through individual winter term or summer projects.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"font_7\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.shansi.org\/on-campus\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">On-Campus Program Grants\u00a0<\/a>support events organized by student organizations or college departments.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"font_7\">The<a href=\"http:\/\/www.shansi.org\/visiting-scholars\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u00a0Visiting Scholars Program<\/a>\u00a0supports visits by Asian faculty to teach, conduct research, and\/or study at Oberlin College.
